About

Hello there, and thank you for visiting my personal blog. My name is _____, but I prefer to be known as Merbella online. I don't care much for writing "About Me" pages because, at least in my own opinion, each person is indefinable; we just are, and labeling tends to prohibit growth and authentic self-realization. That being said, I am sure most people I have met would find me to be a very soft-spoken, old-fashioned kind of person. I dream big and am a huge perfectionist, which has proven to be both an asset and somewhat of a curse to me - the latter becoming apparent when I procrastinate and/or am extremely hard on myself. I am working, however, on being more patient and forgiving of myself...

I was accepted into medical school on the 15th of February, 2011. I completed one semester of medical school before deciding, once and for all, a career in medicine was not the right path for me. Since then, I have taken two months of acting classes and am now in the process of moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an actress. My other passion, songwriting, is also something I am actively pursuing.
